Greetings! My name is Chelsea McCoy-Bryant and I am excited to join the River City Middle School Red Tails family as the 8th Grade Dean of Students! This marks my 14th year in education and my 4th year with RPS, where I previously served as a Behavioral Specialist.

I earned my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Exceptional Education from Virginia State University (Hail State!) and my M.Ed. in Administration & Supervision from Liberty University.

Throughout my career, I started my journey in alternative education before working within HCPS. In addition to the public education setting, I also served as behavioral support in a group home facility on the side. I come with a wealth of knowledge and have worn many hats during my journey. I am deeply passionate about supporting students, building relationships, and helping young people grow both academically and behaviorally.

I am excited for this next chapter and look forward to serving, supporting, and growing alongside the River City Middle School community. Go Red Tails!
