I bring over fifteen years of experience as an educator. The past two years have been as 6th grade administrator and dean of school culture and academic behavior of Elkhardt-Thompson Middle School. Prior to ETMS I taught both middle and high school Spanish in Hampton City Schools. I received a bachelor’s of arts degree in Spanish at Christopher Newport University. As a parent of a 2020 college and high school graduate and a second grader just beginning her journey in the educational system, I understand the significance the transition into middle school, into high school, and life beyond high school is for our students and families.
